Dr. Aniebiet Uko Udofia is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialized training in sports medicine and a strong background in healthcare leadership. Dr. Udofia earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, where she also received multiple honors including the McVicar Endowed Scholarship and the USC Black Alumni Scholarship. While at USC, she concurrently pursued and completed a Master of Business Administration with a double major in Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where she was a Consortium Fellow and recognized for her leadership and academic excellence.
She completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and went on to complete a prestigious Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, under the mentorship of Dr. Lutul Farrow. Her advanced training prepared her to care for a wide range of athletic injuries, with experience serving as assistant team physician for professional sports teams including the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Guardians, and coverage of collegiate and high school athletics across multiple states.
Dr. Udofia has held surgical positions across the country, including with Adventist Health in California, where she served as Physician Liaison for hip and knee care redesign, and most recently at Huntsville Memorial Hospital in Texas, where she served as Medical Director of Sports Medicine. She currently practices general orthopaedics at Columbus Community Hospital in Nebraska.
