Who We Are
OrthoLegal was founded by Orthopaedic Surgeon and QME Alexis E. Dixon, MD to make medicolegal practice realistic — and rewarding — for busy California surgeons.
A demanding Orthopaedic practice rarely allows for the time and effort required to keep pace with California’s state-enforced QME requirements. Yet the need for qualified evaluators is significant: the vast majority of work-related injuries in California involve the musculoskeletal system, and those disputes can only be resolved by physicians with the right expertise.
We are the experts on musculoskeletal evaluations — General Orthopaedics, Spine, and Hand — and we exist to handle everything around the medicine so our physicians can focus on the medicine itself.
