Dr. Jason Huffman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon and President of Napa Valley Orthopaedic Medical Group. With over two decades of surgical experience, he is recognized as a leader in minimally invasive spine surgery, including micro-decompression, advanced spinal fusion techniques, and fusion alternatives such as disc replacement and dynamic stabilization.

Dr. Huffman earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College after completing his undergraduate studies in genetics at the University of California, Davis. He went on to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency and surgical internship at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, followed by a spine surgery fellowship at the Spine Institute at St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. He has been board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 2007.

Recognized for his contributions to patient care and innovation, Dr. Huffman has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and honored repeatedly as one of America’s Most Honored Professionals. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery, and the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.
