Dr. Jessica C. McMichael is a highly skilled and compassionate Orthopaedic Surgeon with expertise in both pediatric and trauma orthopaedics and lifestyle medicine. After earning her Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2003, Dr. McMichael completed her Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Saint Louis University and a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship at Shriners Hospital for Children and the University of California, Davis Medical Center. 

With over a decade of experience in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. McMichael has worked in diverse settings, including the United States Air Force, Kaiser Permanente and the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, as well as independent contracting roles. She has a deep passion for pediatric care and previously served as a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon at Pediatric Orthopedic Specialists of Orange County in California, from 2016 to 2023. Dr. McMichael is currently an Orthopaedic Surgeon with Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. 

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. McMichael is certified by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Her dedication to lifelong learning and professional development is demonstrated by her active involvement in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association. 

Dr. McMichael is also a passionate advocate for women in medicine. She serves as a surgeon coach through SurgeonMasters, where she combines her expertise in orthopaedics and life coaching to support and empower others in achieving their professional and personal goals.
