A Southern California native, Dr. Sugi earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University before attending medical school at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at LAC+USC Medical Center and pursued dual fellowships at UCLA Medical Center and Stanford University.

Passionate about children’s health and development, Dr. Sugi is dedicated to improving outcomes for young patients with bone, joint, and muscle conditions from birth through young adulthood. She specializes in treating fractures, sports injuries, spine disorders, neuromuscular weakness, and hip, hand, and joint abnormalities.

Dr. Sugi is committed to advancing innovative approaches in pediatric and sports orthopedic care, ensuring the best possible treatment for her patients.

Dr. Sugi is available for patient care at the Los Angeles and Tarzana locations.
