Dr. Nitin Prabhakar is a board-certified physician specializing in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. A California native, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego, and his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stanford University, followed by a fellowship in Interventional and Chronic Pain at the University of California, San Francisco.

Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in both PM&R and Pain Medicine, Dr. Prabhakar is committed to advancing patient care through a comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. In addition to his clinical expertise, he serves as a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the state of California, performing evaluations in the East Bay, San Francisco Bay Area, and Far Northern California regions.
