Shaun E. Chandran, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint reconstruction and general orthopedic care. He is the founder of Chandran Orthopaedic Surgery in Torrance, California, where he provides individualized, conservative, and surgical treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Chandran earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, graduating with honors in Neurobiology. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Stanford University. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in hip and knee joint replacement at Massachusetts General Hospital, a Harvard-affiliated program recognized for excellence in orthopedic care.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Chandran serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he is involved in teaching and mentoring the next generation of orthopedic surgeons.
