Dr. Traci Granston is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in hand and microvascular surgery and over 20 years of experience in clinical medicine, academic leadership, and health system innovation. While she no longer practices clinically, Dr. Granston remains deeply engaged in advancing musculoskeletal care through health strategy and value-based delivery models.

She currently serves as Medical Director of Clinical Strategy in Musculoskeletal Health at Cohere Health, where she leads initiatives to improve care quality, appropriateness, and outcomes through evidence-based pathways and collaborative provider engagement. Her background includes extensive experience in both operative and non-operative orthopaedic care, particularly of the hand and upper extremity.

Dr. Granston completed her hand surgery fellowship at the University of Washington and her orthopaedic surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University, where she received the John T. Makely Award for Best Chief Resident. She earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Washington. In 2021, she completed an Executive MBA at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, where she won the EMBA Business Plan Competition.

Throughout her career, Dr. Granston has been a committed educator and contributor to orthopaedic research, with publications in leading journals such as The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and The Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She has held hospital appointments at Valley Medical Center and Logan Health and was previously a partner at Proliance Orthopedic Associates in Renton, Washington.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society. From 2020 to 2022, she was named a Seattle Met “Top Doctor” in Hand Surgery.
